Misbah Shafique - Eyeconic Media's Founder & Producer
Misbah Shafique has spent seventeen years inside Pakistani television and, since 2022, an independent production hub commissioning original drama for audiences on both sides of the border — and beyond.
In 2007, Misbah Shafique started as a digital marketer inside Geo Television Network — long before "OTT" was a phrase anyone in Pakistan's industry used. Seventeen years on, she is the first producer from the country to pioneer original series for international streaming platforms, and remains the only Pakistani producer currently developing multiple international OTT originals at once.
As Head of Content at GroupM Pakistan's Motion Content Group, she produced Alif and Laal, and was part of the founding team behind Churails — Pakistan's first original web series. In 2022 she founded Eyeconic Media, an independent production house based in Dubai with roots in Lahore.
She continues to take on producer credits outside her own studio too — currently airing on Express Entertainment, Raja London Ka, produced for Full Frame Productions.
